Bihar Public Service Commission
The Bihar Public Service Commission came into existence from 1st April 1949 after its separation from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 261 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted. Its constitutional status was pronounced with the promulgation of Constitution of India on 26th January, 1950. It is a Constitutional Body under Article 315 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age is 22 years old
- Maximum age is 37 years old

Edu. Qualifications:
- Candidates must have BE/BTech/BSc in Engg./BS and it’s equivalent.
- Degree must be regular ; Not Distance Learning

- For All others : Rs. 750/-
- Biometric Fee: Rs.200/-

Selection Process:
- It consists of written exam and Interview
- Written Exam will be of 150 marks
- And Candidates who clear written exam will be short listed for interview
- Interview will be of 30 marks
- Final List will be made on marks which are obtained in written exam and interview and marks of special education, work experience or teaching experience of candidates
